Use a blonde shampoo. it wont damage ur hair but it will bring out ur natural color. not dye blonde shampoo but like John Frida Sheer Blonde. It works for me.

oh my gosh! i would NEVER put Henna in my hair..i lived in india for a year and i saw what it did to the indian woman and mens hair..it turns it ORANGE! not even light brown!!
so i would deff stop that right there! i personally LOVE henna on my hands and on the body..but i would NEVER recommend the hair even though it is natural and good.
I’d suggest SUN-IN! it works WONDERS! and you dont have to go out in the sun for it to work..i just blow dry it in my hair..and you just put more in for how light you want it to get! It is deffinently the cheapest and i think safest way to go..its not permanent and you have to maintain it every other month..but thats the good thing you can stop it whenever you want to! :]

No just use it once a month and it does not turn your hair orange ! It turns it a little light!

Henna will not make you hair lighter, it contains no chemical agents to lighten hair.
Now if you try to lighten your hair it will not work as the Henna is in there. so you have a choise of waiting 4 weeks or removing the henna from your hair so it can be lightened.
To help remove Henna from the hair shaft, apply warm mineral oil to the hair. Leave on 20-25 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Shampoo out. This procedure is good prior to using a perm or chemical tint/color. It may not remove all of the color, but enough will be removed to perm, color or highlight your hair.

I’m sorry but henna will not lighten you hair at all….I use it but I have pretty light hair and I turn it a deep red color! And it doesn’t turn every ones hair orange…If you want to use it just for a conditioner you could try going to.
