no definitely not. ive had lots of henna tattoos and they are really cool. i dont think ive ever heard of complications with henna tattoos unless you can be allergic to them…

Just make sure to test a tiny part of your hand first.

If you are allergic, you will have permanent scars where the paint is or pumps and rash there.

If you get one made with safe natural red/brown henna they are fun and perfect.
If you get one of the fake, dangerous, black not henna temporary tattoos then you can end up with problems.
THe difference is one is made of plant leaves that are ground up and the other is a chemical , PPD, that is illegal to apply to the skin and can cause blisters, and scarring.
Be safe, have fun, use real henna.

Henna tattoos are usually harmless since it is just a vegetable dye and usually wears off in a matter of days. but there are kinds that can cause an allergic reaction. If the henna is added with para-phenylenediamine(PPD), which only legal use is is hair dyes, to promote a darker color, then there is a risk of an allergy resulting to blisters to the skin. Allergy due to henna itself is rare, but allergy due to PPD is extremely common.
